Taking care of silver 🌀 

- Keep dry and store in an airtight container to avoid tarnishing 

- Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, and cleaning products.  

- Clean with a soft cloth or silver polishing cloth.  

- For deeper cleaning, use mild soap and warm water. Dry well.

Pearl & stone care 🗿

- Pearls are delicate. Wipe gently with a soft cloth after wearing.  

- Avoid perfumes, hairspray, and chemicals.  

- Do not soak or expose to excessive moisture.

- Avoid heat, and prolonged sun exposure.  

- Store separately in soft pouch to prevent scratching.

Silver tarnishing is normal when exposed to the elements which is why if you're in CDMX, we offer free polishing for our pieces to bring back the mirror finish shine ;-)

Pre tattoo

Hydrate !! 💧 using your usual lotion and by drinking plenty of water a few days prior to your appointment, this helps prepare your skin for optimal healing 

Please let me know if you’ll be using a topical anesthetic beforehand, I’ll run you through the process :-) 

Please come well rested and sober, alcohol or medication can thin blood and make the process harder on both of us :(

Aftercare 🐛 

After your appointment, remove second skin between 24 and no more than 48 hrs after. When removing pull down instead of away ( unlike a bandaid🩹 ) preferably while in the shower under lukewarm water 🚿 cleanse the area with neutral soap (no fragrance) and air dry (avoid towels) ⛲️

Repeat cleaning 2-3 times a day depending on activity, begin moisturizing ONLY UNTILL you notice skin dryness (usually around 3-5 days after your tattoo) 

I do not recommend the use of aquaphor or any heavy consistency moisturizer as they are prone to clog pores and can cause infections, a neutral thin lotion or coconut oil is best 🌀

For the next 2 weeks after your appointment:

NO submerging your tattoo in water (pools, oceans, baths)

NO exposing your tattoo to direct sunlight 

NO exercise (sweat can greatly affect healing)

NO drinking / drugs (can affect healing as blood thins and immune system lowers)

Forever care 💌 

Remember to always wear sunscreen especially if your tattoo has color!
